My reply to Jerry Moran’s letter and messed up view of the world.
Dear Jerry,
Go back to school and take math, economy, and accounting. vote for the Peoples Progressive Budget. This is what Paul Krugman said about that budget being the Only game in town–the game you are TOTALLY ignoring due to poor schooling somewhere.

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman says the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) budget proposal is the ” only major budget proposal out there offering a plausible path to balancing the budget.” Krugman writes that serious deficit reduction must include raising revenues and that the CPC budget does exactly that.
A new International Monetary Fund (IMF) analysis concludes that “China’s economy will surpass that of America in real terms in 2016 — just five years from now.” The IMF estimates that under purchasing power parity, the Chinese economy will expand to $19 trillion in 2016 while the U.S. economy will expand to $18.8 trillion.
The Senate is moving a bill to cut the number of administration posts that are subject to Senate approval , a “rare voluntary surrender of Congressional clout” that is backed by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). “We are losing very good people because the process has become so onerous, so lengthy and so duplicative,” said Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME).

Our country is facing enormous fiscal challenges, which left unchecked will have a disastrous impact on the future of our nation. Tackling this fiscal crisis means Washington cannot continue business as usual and must confront out-of-control borrowing and spending. I appreciate you writing me to share your concerns about America’s spending on national defense.
I am committed to supporting our military and believe our troops must have the resources needed to perform their vital missions of defending our country. However, like all government spending, Congress has an obligation to make certain the Department of Defense is spending money wisely. I believe the U.S. military can eliminate wasteful, expensive programs and become more efficient without sacrificing its strength.
As the Senate considers defense spending, I will continue to advocate for fiscally responsible decisions while making sure our military has what it needs to protect our country.
