PERHAPS ERIN BROKOVICH SHOULD TAKE ON THE U.S. GOVERNMENT’S MISHANDLING OF THE WIKILEAKS INFO
By Kevin Stoda, also from Kansas
That’s right. Erin Brokovich—you know the real one that the movie is based on—comes from Kansas. As a matter of fact, she is from Lawrence, Kansas where I once lived, too.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0195685/
According to Wikileaks, “Erin Brockovich-Ellis (born June 22, 1960) is an American legal clerk and environmental activist who, despite the lack of a formal law school education, was instrumental in constructing a case against the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) of California in 1993. Since the release of the film that shares her story and name, she has hosted Challenge America with Erin Brockovich on ABC and Final Justice on Zone Reality. She is the president of Brockovich Research & Consulting, a consulting firm.”
She has not only been on television in recent years but has continued to work on big lawsuits where contamination is involved various corners all over the world.
I see on her website, she is also supporting whistleblowers. See the link below.
This is a good trend. We need more Americans to support whistle-blowing, especially after the Obama [and the Bush Administration] have decided to
(a) attack the messenger/whistleblowers instead of taking the message as a source for investigation of crimes and facts &
(b) fail to prosecute criminals and/or those promoting crimes, violence and genocide.

I don’t know if Erin can help America’s Whistleblowers, but I think a number of Whistleblowers can try and contact her site[1]:
http://www.brockovich.com/whistleblower.html
I ponder whether it isn’t pertinent—now more than ever, i.e. while Wikileaks and Bradley Manning and others around the globe are being persecuted, investigated and prosecuted for Whistleblowing,--to find a great crowd of Americans, someone of Brokovich’s stature, who supports whistleblowing[3] in government and elsewhere speaking more publicly and improving American discourse on the wasted lives and war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and America.
NOTE
[1] Naturally, I advocate any whistleblowers in America to also contact experts in the field of whistleblowing [2], such as WHISTLEBLOWER.ORG [4]
http://www.whistleblower.org/
[2] You can also follow this route, but with the current government, I do not know if it is safe.

[4] Here is an interview with another important American Whistleblower, Susan Lindauer [5]. Lindauer, though was victim of USA government investigation—the kind that we don’t want to see any more in America, in Iceland or anywhere :
