Eight Ways Monsanto Fails at Sustainable Agriculture

Dear Kevin,

America has some of the smartest scientists in the world working in the field of agriculture, and over the years we've developed some really innovative ways to produce healthy food while protecting our air, water, and soil. So why are we still using the same old, industrial techniques to grow food in this country? One reason is because giant agribusiness corporations like Monsanto, who profit from the status quo, are standing in our way. This month, UCS highlights eight ways Monsanto prevents progress to achieving a sustainable agriculture future.
