March 1997-December 1998 Intensive English Language Instructor and Adjunct ESL Instructor for the Italian NATO Air Force Pilot/Instructor Program at the Intensive English Language Institute, Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, Texas. Taught all levels of speaking and listening, the higher levels of writing and reading, and all levels of grammar courses as well as specialized courses on American film, idioms, TOEFL preparation, and world issues. Also presented to colleagues on subjects, such as testing and on the use of film in developing curricula.

September 1995-August 1996 United States Information Agency English Teaching Fellow: Tester, Trainer, and Teacher in Managua, Nicaragua at the Centro Cultural Nicaraguense Norteamericana, at the Universidad Centro America, at the American School's Intensive English Program, and for the Asociacion Nicaraguense de Profesores de Ingles. Taught all levels of intensive programs as well as regular university reading, writing, and literature programs as well as global issues classes. Also, presented at international TESOL workshops in both Nicaragua and Costa Rica and gave intensive English language and methods courses to primary and secondary teachers of English. July 1992-July 1994 Japanese Exchange Teacher in Niigata Prefecture, Japan in and around Itoigawa City at Itoigawa Koko, Itoigawa Technical and Commercial High School, and Nou Fisheries High School.
