Responding to Comment from a Reader who Uses Dick "the Chickenhawk" Cheney to Make Authoritiative Claims about the World

Dear Mr. Third World War Theorist,

To put it bluntly, I don't think any right-minded follower of Christ would lift a finger to praise Dick Cheney's description of the world.

Cheney, who elected himself vice-president, after running George W. Bush's presidential campaign for 2 years, has decided to spend a trillion U.S. dollars for wars each year instead of giving to the poor and making friends in both poor and rich Islamic countries.(Even where this has happened, Halliburton and other U.S. contractors and subcontractors actually have not used the moneys for empowering the poor instead of padding their bank accounts.)

LONG-TERM SECURITY HAS BEEN directed IN THE GOSPELS and proven in game theory (through repeated gaming and computer simulation of tit-for-tat. The number one way to win and have security is TO DO ONTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO ONTO YOU.
Only when attacked would you even consider an attack on the other. That is not the thinking of Cheney and Clan who created fantasy (read NON-BIBLICAL) rationales for treating neighbors, families and foreign nations since 2001. For example, he personally brow beat the Pentagon, the NCA and the CIA et. al. to back a ludicrous invasion in Iraq under the guise of a satanic based PRE-EMPTIVE WAR theory condemned by christian culture consistently for 2000 years.
Let us Americans not be lemmings any more to the FEAR MONGERING OF THE STATUS QUO that have bought off Washington and bought off far too many souls of our christian brothers and sisters.

Remember, it is not only Muslims that make war or jihads!!! The many poor and unserved peoples of the world--muslim or not-- haven't closed their minds to this reality of who makes and sells most of the weapons.

So, the only way to make peace is by finding common grounds--not to go after hailing war Gods like the draft dodger Cheney, the God of the Neo-Cons and other blind bedfellows.

Kevin A. Stoda

p.s. Democrats need to follow up on the commitment by the thousands who signed this pleadge to impeach Cheney! http://archive.democrats.com/elandslide/petition.cfm?campaign=impeach

Like your application of Christian doctrine on the issue of preventive war. I had missed that!

BTW, Impeach Cheney First!
